The terms I work under
Written to be read, not to be got around. If there is something in here you do not want, say so before we start and we will change it.
Quote and assignment
For every project I send a written quote in advance with the scope, the price and the timeline. That quote is valid for thirty days. Once you approve it, it counts as the assignment. Work that is not in it, I do not do without agreeing that separately first.
Payment
Fifty per cent at the start, fifty per cent on delivery, unless agreed otherwise. Invoices have a payment term of fourteen days. Maintenance arrangements are invoiced monthly or yearly in advance.
What you supply
You supply the text, images and logos, and you confirm that you are allowed to use them. If material does not arrive, the delivery date moves with it. I will tell you in good time when I am waiting on something.
Delivery and fixes
After delivery you have fourteen days to check that everything works as agreed. Faults within the agreed scope I fix at no cost. Change requests beyond it are quoted separately.
Ownership
After full payment the delivered website is yours, including the source code and access to every account. I hold no keys back. I may show the work in my portfolio, unless you object to that.
Maintenance and hosting
Maintenance and hosting run under a separate arrangement with one month's notice. If you end it, I help with the move to another party. Third party costs, such as the domain name and hosting, are passed on at cost price.
Liability
I do my work carefully, but I cannot guarantee that a website is reachable without interruption or that third party services keep working. My liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment in question. I am not liable for consequential loss.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to every assignment. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, it goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. Questions about these terms: info@sitebrouwers.com.
